Great job mrbassman101. I may give Weathervain a call to see if they could make one,
Of course I have no idea what color to choose. Black is out and I like the idea of white but the cleaning might make that difficult. I do wonder how the ones from the 60s and 70s were cleaned.

@blackmacjay.
I am no expert but it is possible that Caroline's Gangster Mac is made by Hamilton Classics Rainwear, as a lot of the
RubberRainwear DVD's feature Hamilton Classics Mackintoshes.
As regards cleaning mackintoshes in the 60's and 70's it was done the hard way with soap, warm water and a nailbrush.
I well remember helping my girlfriend clean her double-textured Biba mac , peach coloured with enormous lapels , and
it took half a day on a Saturday. It took ages to dry too, but it looked like it was brand-new. Happy days eh !

I have bought a couple of mackintoshes from Hamilton Classics and you may be right except I don't see it mentioned in their current brochure.
And, as mentioned, I'll get ready with the nailbrush.

You have to admit that the 70's were a phenomenal mackintosh time - moving from PVC to rubberized macks so seamlessly !
Pun intended . Problem with nostalgia , it makes you feel old ! Well not really - it is great !
